The 'Birth' of Yesod is the result of Roth's experimentation to discover her own personal signature fragrance.  Immediately, she received a barrage of compliments and inquiries from friends and strangers alike asking about the "alluring and enticing fragrance" she was wearing. "I couldn't go anywhere without someone stopping me and wanting my perfume.  They literally begged me to put it on the market.  That's when I realized this scent was meant to be."

The name, "Yesod," which Roth trademarked for the perfume, is derived from one of the divine elements of creation that illuminates the world. Yesod alludes to the verse in the Bible, from the Book of Genesis, which states," A River went forth from Eden to water the Garden to join Man and Woman."  In creating Yesod, my intention was to bring one's spirit, soul and body into harmonic oneness; hence the byline that I chose, 'Scent for the Soul,' explained Ms. Roth.

 The ultimate development and manufacturing of Yesod, however, was in consultation with a team of master perfumers, drawing on their four decades of research and development experience.  The perfume is made in France using flowers, fruits and a combination of essential oils, such as is described in the Bible.

The Yesod line has already met with success in Europe, New Zealand, Israel and Norway.  Its American debut is slated for the HBA annual show at the Jacob Javits Center on September 9-11, 2008 (Booth 109), and it is anticipated that it will be featured in stores throughout the USA by early 2009.
